24 teams took part in the morning section (Under 9 & Under 11) and 26 took part in the afternoon section (Under 12, Under14 and Under 16)
As well as the usual Humberside Clubs team had travelled from Brigg, York, Epworth & Scunthorpe to attend what was a brilliant day of netball.

As well as the usual Humberside Clubs team had travelled from Brigg, York, Epworth & Scunthorpe to attend what was a brilliant day of netball.
In the High 5 section (Under 9s) 8 teams had entered and we saw some really competitive matches with the top two teams, Reckitts Sweetex and Epworth drawing on points. The winner was decided by goal difference and that was Epworth – well done to Epworth.
Apart from the Under 14 section, which was split into two divisions with a semi-final and a final taking place, all the other sections played a round-robin and the top 3 placings from each section were so close with only 2 or 3 points between them.
All the age group matches were played in great spirits with some good netball throughout the day.
The winners of each section were
Clubs where chosen from each age group as “Sporting Champions” and were awarded a new match ball
It was a tiring day for the volunteers, coaches, officials and some of the spectators who had been there for the duration of the day but a fantastic display of netball was worth stopping to watch.
Congratulations to all the Winners and well done to all the teams who took part in what was an excellent junior club tournament. Well done to everyone involved....
